I'm also 5ft 2 currently 112lb
Wanting to lose another 10lb and have my calories set to 1400 a day I find 1200 too low and am too hungry I'm not mega active and have been losing a pound and half most weeks.2 -
I'm 5ft 2 and currently 110lb
I want to loose around 6 to 7lb. I started off with 1400calories, then cut down to 1300 and now I'm on 1200. I won't be on 1200 for long though as I don't think it's enough for me.
I weight lift for 45mins 5 days a week.
Last year I got down to 103lb whilst eating around 1600 to 1700. But I was more active. At the moment I'm taking it slow as I've had sciatica, but will start doing cardio 2 days a week soon.
It's a slow steady progress to get the last few lbs off. I've been doing this for 3 weeks and I've lost 1lb a week. If I loose another 5lbs I'll be happy with that though as I can feel my body starting tone up and my clothes feel looser.1 -
Since May 10th, about 2000 calories on average.
I'm 5'4.5" and 132.4 lbs trend (131.8 lbs on scale this morning). MFP gives me NET goal of 1200 for a 467 calorie deficit on Sedentary activity level. I'd get a NET goal of 1410 or so if I set it to 0.5 lb per week loss.
I'm normally fairly active. I work as a full time server Mon-Fri and get 8000 - 10000 steps before I leave work. My fitness tracker adds extra calories for my activity to my goal. I was losing 0.65 lbs per week. I say was because this past week I haven't been able to be active and had to stay home from work due to my Mirena moving into my abdomen (lots of pain if I move around a lot). So currently I seem to be maintaing but won't be to surprised if I see a slight gain in a week or 2 since I am having surgery tomorrow to get it removed.0 -
I am 5'3" 120 lbs trying to get to 110 and MFP has me set at 1320 net for losing 0.5 lb per week. I tried 1200 for a bit but I am not very active so it just wasn't sustainable for me. Unfortunately my TDEE is only around 1470-1520 (sedentary) so the weight loss has been very slow going. I am trying to make it to the gym more though.1

I'm 5'4" and I've been on a 1200cal diet. So far its working for me. I find eating foods closest to its natural state is best in making me feel full and is the healthiest.(ex: whole peanuts vs already opened and flavored) The only thing I'm missing is some encouragement.0

Last year I lost 80 pounds in 2 months eating 1200 calories and excessively exercising (about 3 hours of cardio everyday). As time progressed, I saw the weight falling off. However, I was skinny fat, and I was totally unhappy with the way I looked naked. I immediately started cutting on cardio and eating more, I started lifting weights and currently eat about 2000 calories a day. My muscle is starting to regenerate, and I'm finally happy for how my butt and legs look. I think that 1200 calories is way too low. If you're in a comma you might need that, but honestly that's an starvation diet. By the way, I'm 5'2 and weight 1282
