Hi Looking for some mental focus to get back on track. Lost 55lbs between counting calories and then low carb but have slowly gained 25 back☹️ I feel sluggish & u would think knowing how good i feel when im in control & eating well would be enough...but the struggle is real & im finding myself always saying "tomorrow" Looking for some support & accountability to get the ball rolling. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I suggest not living your entire remain life but your each day, and think as "I reborn everyday, and different from yesterday." I guess your saying "tomorrow "is come from a view that "every day in the life is seemless". In that view, beginning is when your born, and end is your dying. So you can procrastinate or retry your task over and over. But in living each day, the end is end of the day. You can't procrastinate in the view because your time life is remain just some hours! You have to review yourself not while long term of your life, but each 24 hours. No time to procrastinate!

This is effective not only fitness:)
Hoping you receive my english and success, from Japan.

This is awesome. Just what I needed to hear also. I'm in the same boat as u, karr6. I have had many times of being on again, off again. I had a beach trip last month and it declined from there. Tomorrow is a new day. Grab it by the horns and we can do this for ourselves. I'm sending u a friend request...we got this...

This sounds just like me! I was so motivated and lost a lot of weight, for me at least, and at the time I know it was hard but I remember it as being easy. I'm struggling so hard now with motivation!

How are you finding motivation again after gaining some back? I've gained all of my weight back and it's so discouraging.

I saw someone say "the time is going to go by anyway, you might as well go for it" which really made sense to me and helped me. Plus, you'll see that once you start it gets so much easier. Not only mentally because it becomes such a habit, but the app literally gets easier with time because it remembers your common foods and you can build recipes and meals, etc. But I know what you mean. I did MFP once and then stopped and immediately gained the weight back, I was avoiding coming back to MFP mostly out of shame but one day I just had enough and knowing that it works for me I re-download the app. So glad I did.

What helped for Kate and I was to find challenge groups and join them. Something about being part of a larger group and feeling accountable to others seems to really help keep you on track. It worked so well for us now that we hold challenge groups ourselves!
