What should I be eatting at? Calories

So I do p90x 6days a week and mountain bike or kayak on weekends. At work I sit at a desk all day.

I set my goal for not very active and 1.5 a week which gives me 1600 calories.

I'm 5'8" and 204 right now, wondering if I should eat a little higher then I am. Meeting my protein goal is really hard at this calorie limit

    Are you logging your exercise and eating those calories back?

    If you have less than 50 lbs to lose you should prob change your goal to 1 lb per week. And as @janejellyroll said, you should be logging your exercise and eating back some calories. Your full deficit is included in the 1600 goal, so if you are exercising on top of that you should be eating more.

    I don't log them. Don't know how I would with the p90x program. They give average calories burned for there workouts. Maybe I should just go back to 1800 as I was losing quick on that as well. And hitting my protein was much easier

    You can estimate how much you're burning with any exercise program and then adjust based on your results. However, if you were losing well on 1,800, going back to that is also an option. MFP is designed for you to eat back exercise calories, so if you aren't going to do that using their goal as if you were just sedentary is going to leave you hungrier than you should be.

    Did another calcator and it put me at a 1800 min and 2000 for 1 pound a week. So I'm going to bump up to 1800 next week and see what happens.
