Fitbit accuracy

I have a fitbit charge 2. I've been working out for 30-45 mins a day, and using the workout option on my charge to track how many calories I'm burning, I'm wondering if anyone has any input on how accurate this tracker is, with steps and working out, I walked 13,000 steps total today and it's saying I burned like 800 calories, seems weird, but just wanting some input from others who have used this. Thanks in advance!

I've been using the Charge HR/Charge HR 2 to track my calories since summer of 2015 and have had good results (that is, I've been eating back my adjustments and lost or maintained as expected). It's been very accurate for me.4

Awesome! Thank you for your input. Im not gonna eat all of the calories back but do eat some, just didn't want to assume that it's real accurate and then end up not losing because I'm eating back some of the adjusted calories. Thanks again!0 -

Yeah, I've found it to be very accurate. But if you're worried, just eat back some and adjust based on your results.0 -

Good to know. Yeah, I guess it's all just trail and error. Hopefully what I'm doing works!0
