Will protein powder make me gain weight? Will it help me stay full longer? I just feel so hungry in the evenings. I'm still tweaking my meals to find what works best for me and I thought protein powder may help

Depending on the protein powder. If it's just 100% protein with no carbs or fats then no it won't fill you up as they are low in calories.0

No. Only excess calories will. CICO, as they say.PinkandBlack29 wrote: »Will it help me stay full longer?
Maybe, maybe not. Protein requires more energy to digest and has a metabolic effect but can't say if that will make you feel "full" or not. Try eating a high protein diet (around 35-40%) and see what happens.
I've been on a high protein/high carb diet for a year (40P/40C/20F). I've lost weight, maintained weight and recomped over the past year doing it.
Doesn't mean it'll work for you but it did for me.
