Will protein powder make me gain weight? Will it help me stay full longer? I just feel so hungry in the evenings. I'm still tweaking my meals to find what works best for me and I thought protein powder may help

Depending on the protein powder. If it's just 100% protein with no carbs or fats then no it won't fill you up as they are low in calories.

No. Only excess calories will. CICO, as they say.

Maybe, maybe not. Protein requires more energy to digest and has a metabolic effect but can't say if that will make you feel "full" or not. Try eating a high protein diet (around 35-40%) and see what happens.

I've been on a high protein/high carb diet for a year (40P/40C/20F). I've lost weight, maintained weight and recomped over the past year doing it.

Doesn't mean it'll work for you but it did for me.
