Fat % measurement for a pear shaped female

I would like to get some idea of my fat% and start working on lowering it rather than lowering my weight.
I don't know how to measure it accurately (with calipers) because I have very little fat around my waist, all of it is in my butt and legs (on the calfs too). The problems is that all instructions make you measure areas (like tummy and back) where I have very little fat if at all. Where should I measure exactly so that I get a good estimate in my case?
If I measure my butt, then where exactly? I can grab such a large chunk on the side of it that I don't know how representative that is.
