Losing weight based on Macros only

Hi there!
I'm fairly new to tracking only my macros however I have always tracked my calories and I've hit a bump and can't seem to lose any weight or inches. I have looked into tracking only my macros. Any advice? Does it work? Do I need to work out more in replace of it?

I hit a plateau so my dietician upped my protein and fat and viola! Started losing again! That's just me though- it's different for everyone.

I’ve heard the same thing! I struggle hitting my protein macros recently cause I recently went vegan:/ it’s a little tougher than I thought

So.. you hit a plateau and your dietician decision was to significantly up your calories? We may be all different but not so different that thermodynamics don't apply to some of us, excluding a specific condition/illness.

I took that to mean macrowise and not caloriewise but I still have my optimistic moments. :)

Same here, as I've had that happen myself (mine was needing more fat). Overall CI didn't change, no changes on my activity levels, but adding fat back into my diet and a downward trend restarted after a plateau.
