Crispy Cheesy Snack?

I have difficulty moderating light-crispy snacks, especially when they're buttery or cheesy. I've been pretty good about not buying Cheetos (the Puffs are the ones I really like) and I did okay with cheddar-flavored mini rice cakes for awhile. But it's getting to the point that even if I dole out a single serving, put the bag away, and eat what I've set out, I find that I want more.
Any other suggestions? It'd be nice if I didn't have to just avoid them altogether, but I'm afraid that's what it might come down to

Glenny's soy crisps. The bag is 120 calories I believe, and there's a few grams of protein as well. I sprinkle some nutritional yeast on them.
Also, pop your own kernels in a brown paper bag if you don't have an air popper. A little hot sauce, and again the nutritional yeast. It tastes like doritos.1 -

Came here to say the same thing. Soy crisps, or puffed rice snacks. They are usually NOT with the other chips for some reason. In my supermarket they are with the rice cakes and peanut butter.0 -
The best thing is not to buy such things at all... if you dont see it.. u dont feel like eating.. and u can have a cheat day once a while..1

I like nutritional yeast sprinkled on popcorn, too. You can also sprinkle little piles of parmesan cheese on parchment paper and bake them into chips if you want. I've even bought a brand of premade parmesan crisps at Costco, but I'm not entirely sure of the brand name (Whisps, maybe?). It'd be easy to eat the whole bag, but if you make them yourself, it's easier to control the amount.0

One of my favorite snacks is actually cheese crisps. Baked Parmesan or cheddar. Calorie/protein ratio is good and it satisfies my salty, crunchy, cheesy cravings.
