Hi

Sorry if this question has been asked a number of times......but is weight loss still achievable if you consume all of your extra calories gained from exercising?

That would depend. If you aren't over-estimating your exercise then you would lose weight for sure if you eat them back. Some people use inaccurate entries and machine readings that are simply ridiculous and log day to day activities that are already accounted for in your basic calories. To be safe, many people here recommend eating back 50-75% of your exercise calories.

What type of exercise are you doing and how are you measuring your calories burned?

    All the time! :)
It's exactly how this site is designed to be used.

Yes - because that's exactly how this site is designed to be used.

There's issues over getting reasonable exercise estimates and the database here may well not be the best choice depending on what your exercise actually is. There isn't one single "best way" for all exercise.
But really inaccuracy on the exercise estimation front is dwarfed by potential inaccuracies in food logging which is far more significant.
