Strength training routine for a total beginner

I've been on MFP for a year and a half now and in that time have lost weight through diet alone, eating between 1000-1300 calories per day, for the most part. I've now gotten to the stage where I've hit my goal weight, exceeded it in fact, but I'm still not where I want to be. I know that I need to exercise to get the body I want, but I can't even think of exercise right now as it's currently Ramadan and I feel extremely lethargic whilst fasting.
My aim is to slowly increase my calories and join the gym after Eid, where I will do both a little cardio (30-40 minutes) and a beginner strength training routine, aiming for 5 days per week. Can anyone recommend a good routine for me do please? I feel completely overwhelmed looking at all the different exercises to do and am not sure how much I should be doing to really see the results I want. Thanks!
