You can still drink beer and lose weight...
30 lbs in 2 months is way too aggressive for someone with only 30lbs to lose.
And no, that sounds like way to little food and very miserable.1 -
Thanks. I play hockey 3 nights a week. No beer0

As she said above, 30 pounds in 2.5 months is too aggressive and your planned diet sounds too restrictive. Eat the foods you enjoy in appropriate portions and aim for a healthy deficit (a pound a week)1

1) your goal is too aggressive, as others have said
2) you could eat the foods you describe and still not lose weight, because it's not what you eat that determines whether you lose weight, it's the amount of food you consume (measured in calories or some other unit of energy) relative to the amount of energy your body uses.2 -

Thanks. Just want to lose beer belly by football season. I gained the weight bcuz of torn hamstring and back siatica. Sp?0

For regular non-problem drinkers, the drink is not the responsible party in the weight problem. I don't try to argue people out of sobriety, but on the off chance your plan works for a few months, don't discard your large clothes. You'll need them before the midpoint of the season.0

A pound a week? Wow. I think I can manage that if not more hopefully. I don't eat too bad. Chipotle I guess. But sushi 4 days a week.

You didn't gain the weight because of a torn hamstring and sciatica. You gained weight because you reduced your activity because of the torn hamstring and sciatica, and didn't reduce your calorie intake by an equal amount. And it wasn't the beer specifically that caused the belly. It was the overall energy surplus. Yes, cutting out beer, without making any other changes, could be enough to put you in a calorie deficit, but nobody can know that without a lot more information.1 -
Thanks. I live in Florida. Going to the beach every weekend when ur single and gained weight isn't the coolest thing ever. That's for sure. Haha0

At most you can do 1% of your total weight (just over 2 pounds a week), but the more you try to lose per week the greater percentage of muscle mass you lose, which is obviously not good for a football player1 -
Just to clarify. I watch fb. Lol. Play hockey in beer league. Funny.0
