Weight loss time suggestions

Hi there!
Okay i know this might be asking alot but I have cut out my soda and worked on my diet and it's been 5 days and I'm looking for a result but no result yet. Now I KNOW that I'm probably expecting too much (what? me? lol) but was wondering when you all noticed a weight loss? I know my exercise hasen't been that great so I have to increase that. If anybody wants to look at my diary and see if there are any secrets hiding in there I would love to know so I can adjust. Thank you all for your help! When I was in high school I would have lost 10 pounds in 5 days but I guess I have to realize I'm not 16 anymore. lol
