I tried this shake and have to admit that I love it and it is very effective at keeping hunger away but it contains DATEM and according to an article on Eat This Not That the company says that the DATEM that they use is from fully hydrogenized not cancer causing, artery clogging partially hydrogenized oils. Does that really make a difference? Hydrogenizing still changes the original chemical composition. I really want to use this product but need to know that it is safe. Thoughts?

FDA says "OK", other folks say "Not OK".

Your answer depends upon your care-abouts.
