Ive been cutting for 2 weeks and today ive had a chest meal (600 cal).

My maintenance is 2200 and I'm currently.at 1600 cals. Ive been doing 1000 cals defecit s day until now.

Will this cheat meal spoil my cutting phase? Thanks!

No, it will decrease your deficit for the day. Doing this all the time will stop your loss considerably. But I like "cheat" foods for sanity, some may disagree :)

Why are you cutting so severely? You should be eating 1500 minimum a day.

I don't understand the question, if you're in a 1000 cal deficit and you ate an extra 600 calories, you'll still be in a 400 cal deficit that day how can that ruin your cutting phase?

    also if you're at a 1000 cal deficit then you're eating 1200 a day? that's too low, don't go below 1500

    Thanks for the responses. :)

This is a short cutting phase (3 weeks to go) so I thought that a 1000 cal defecit would be ok - that's what ive read on multiple threads on bodybuilding.com anyway haha. They say between 500 and 1000 is fine.

Why do you find it too low?
