I did this diet last year and lost 15 pounds in 2 months. I started again almost a month ago and lost 5 pounds the first week (mostly water weight) and now nothing. I am doing everything the same way I did before and doing a cardio workout 4 times a week. Any suggestions? I'm getting very discouraged

What 'diet'? To lose weight you just need a calorie deficit.

Are you weighing everything you eat?

It would help if you provided more detail.

As noted, what diet? Did you regain the 15 lbs you lost? Or are you looking to lose more?

As Travis, points out you need a calorie deficit. Once that is in place, I think you need 2 other things. One is time. Few people want to allow for time. If you want losses that last, you need to prepare yourself to put in 1 or 2 weeks for every pound you want to lose.

The other thing you need is find a way to keep your own brain from messing you up. For whatever reasons our brains want to record everything in weight loss as either failure or catastrophe.

If I read you correctly you are down over 1 lb per week. Keep going. Try modest adjustments if you don't start losing again.

It's a change in food / exercise habits. Not a temporary diet, being more mindful (am I truly hungry)? How am I feeling? Feeling needing to force feed yourself, could eat a bit more or a normal sized meal).. feeling noticing eated enough, yet not stuffed when eating..

Not excluding favourite foods (leads to binge eating), have with care. Knowing natural foods provide the body with all nutritients it needs on possible lower calories overall than for example a preprocessed food higher in calories but providing little protein, having high carbs,.. leaving possible less satisfied then other foods..

No food restrictions, see how the foods desired fits in the macro's & calories remaining.. <3
