Going on a cut ?

I have been bulking for around 5 months. I think it's time to cut. I have gained around 6 kg in 5 months. I have kept the bulk clean.

I have gained fat on my life handles and legs. I carry most of my fat in my lower body.

Shall I reduce calories slowly by 100 to maintain muscle mass also when is it ideal to stop cutting, I am not concerned with getting too shredded. Is seeing abs enough of a sign to begin the bulk ?

    Stop cutting when you're happy with how you look...or bulk again if you're not there yet
