Hi! I am a 66 yr old female that just started MyFitnessPal last week. I have medical issues that prevent me from walking or doing anything physical so I have gained about 45 unwanted pounds. Dr said if I can lose some weight I would not have so much pain from the arthritis; recommend seeing a dietitian who recommend using this website to log the food I eat. It has been a great help. Looks like lots of support and good people are here too! Going to join a water exercise program today that is approved by Arthritis Foundation. Lost 6 pounds already just by paying attention to what I am eating. I see now that I need to eat more veggies, less meat and fruit. Is a learning process for sure, but I am determined to weigh less and feel better.
