Does 300 calories sound about right for one cup of hamburger chili with beans?

Put your ingredients you made it with in the recipe builder. Enter the number of servings. That will tell you. Without having any info about your chili it would be really hard to guess - if you didn't make it or didn't bother to track the ingredients I would just find a similar one in the database and pick one with a higher calorie count.3

Depends on ingredients. You can use the recipe builder here to calculate calories. My homemade chili to 230 calories per cup.1

it depends. i have homemade chili that was very low calorie, and then another time make it and it was much higher. depends on the fat % of your meat, the beans, and if you use tomato paste, or tomatoes, etc.
i always average higher. so if i *Think* a cup is 300 cal, i will enter it as 400 cal just to make sure.2 -
Chili with beans and meat is very calorie dense, in general.1
