Last 15 pounds

I lost the first 25 pounds in 3 months. But so far it has been a struggle to get the last 15 off. Haven't moved the scale in a month but still doing everything I am supposed to. Starting last week I cut 200 calories a day off my intake and I am adding a extra day of cardio from this week forward. Had a bad weekend and actually put a couple pounds back on but I have lost 1 of them in the past 2 days. I am guessing the last few pounds are the hardest lose. Anyone else find this to be true?

when i got to the last 10lbs, i reduced my deficit to lose 0.5lbs per week and resigned myself to very slow loss, which is easily masked by water from a high sodium meal or a couple of glasses of wine.

have you recalculated your calories after losing the first 25lbs?

I'm in the same boat. I keep reminding myself that I am burning less calories just doing my regular daily activities than I was at my starting weight, and that each pound or half pound of weight represents a greater percentage of body weight than before.

But it's hard. And the novelty has king of worn off, too.
