Glute activation before your workout?

Does anyone do any glute activation workouts before your workout?

I read this helps activate the glutes when performing workouts such as glute bridges etc but wondered if it was true?

    Yup I do. I used to do just a bit but now I really get them firing (not too much so it impacts my lifting though). I do bodyweight kickback extensions, I also use my hip circle and do pulse squats and hip thrust pumps/posterior pelvic tilt thrusts. I also do glute finishers which are more intense at the end of my sessions.
