Hey!
I'm newly diagnosed with hashimito at only 31, I'm struggling with my weight. I want to lose about 20 pounds. I just started baby steps. Eating a little better and excersise 1 or 2 times a week. Any motivation will help!! Please add me!

Hi, I also have Hashimotos. I'm coming up on two months with MFP and i've lost a good +15lb ( I have between 80-100lbs to lose). The thing is I haven't been pushing it too hard just keeping track and skipping the extra snacks/treats I know I don't need. I'm sure I'll need to keep cleaning up my diet here and there but so far its been really doable and I've been happy with it.

As for the Hashimotos it can take awhile for the meds to get you feeling normal. I was diagnosed last year at 32 and I think it took me a good 8 months to stabilize and now I have my energy level back.

    I'll add you.

    Hi,
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism ar 19 and about 10 yrs ago a specialist told me i specifically had Hashimotos (I'm 43 now).
So i can relate with all the challenges the disease comes with including a tough road with weight loss. I've seen alot of Dr's and tried several types of replacement thyroid meds as well a lot of tinkering with food allowance. I'll friend you & feel free to message me if u have any questions. Hope the changes are as seamless as possible for you ☺
