How to log roast & veggies

Okay. So I have a recipe for slow-cooker beef roast and vegetables. I'm just not sure how to log the servings, because you get a mix of the ingredients, but it's not necessarily even. Does that make sense? Or do you just ... give it your best guess?

I weigh my pieces of vegetables beforehand, and cook them separately. We don't have roast often, prefer to cook individual steaks so we dont have lots of leftovers, but I just guesstimate a portion of cooked meat.0

just assume an even mix - it should average out over the full pot (unless you or someone else in the household repeatedly purposely picks extra/less of certain items when scooping out a serving). (If you live alone, then it doesn't matter - you'll be the one eating the full pot in the end).0

I always assume an even mix for my recipes. Like @ritzvin said, unless you've got someone picking out certain things, it's going to be close enough.0

I'm another who assumes an even mix. I figure it evens out over time.0
