I am a 46 year old woman, what should my macros be to lose weight? I am 5'8", 236 lbs.

Whatever you want them to be. It's the calories that control your weight loss.

I focus on eating foods high in protein and fiber. It helps me lose in an indirect way, as it helps me stay satiated with fewer calories.

Calories are what cause weight loss or gain, not macros. Eat whatever macros you find help you as an individual feel satisfied with your calorie goal. That varies from person to person.

Fill out mfp accurately. The perset macros are fine, though I personally eat 40/30/30
