Hi all,
I hurt my ankle a while back and it's still not healed. Doctor think it may be fractured :(

Anyway, the last two weeks I've started getting back into exercising but I'm hesitant to do a lot of the things I used to do because of my bad ankle - running, yoga, free weights, HIIT, etc. Basically anything that twists or put more than normal or uneven pressure on my ankle. I've been doing the elliptical for cardio but I'm not sure what to do for full body strength training. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help!

If the doc cleared you to get back to it, just start slow I guess.

Were you refrrred to a physical therapist? I would start there. And if the DR said it might be fractured, I wouldn't do anything.

Quick way to find out if it is fractured would be to get an X-ray taken. Until you know for sure you should not stress it in any way as you may cause more damage. I have a lot of experience with broken ankles and have 2 screws holding one of mine together. Get an X-ray!
