If you stay up passed midnight, and eat something before you go to bed, do you log it for the day since you haven't gone to sleep yet or log it on the correct calendar day?

I log things on the correct calendar day.

As long as you are consistent, it doesn't really matter though.

I personally log everything after midnight on the actual calendar day. But like @jemhh said, consistency is what counts.

I rarely eat after midnight and if I do I probably did not log it, but I have gotten up late to eat and I log the food then I eat it. If I eat the food after midnight to me it is the same day so I log it for that day. I just confused myself. I log it for the day, not the calendar day

I second the comments about consistency. I log things on the correct calendar day.

I log wake to sleep on the same day but really it doesn't matter - just be consistent.

I log based on my concept of day -- so, yes, after midnight I go back.

I work graveyards so my logging would look really confusing to someone else if they were to watch me eat and try to figure out what makes something a Tuesday food vs a Wednesday food when both are being eaten on Wed morning only a few hours apart. But like above posters said, it's about consistency. Your body doesn't work on a 24hr clock.
