I am pretty unfamiliar with exercise to be honest. i enjoy walking though. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what kinds of exercises that are somewhat easy enough for a beginner and that i can do inside? my brother has a kettlebell he told me i could i use but i have heard that if i dont know how to use one properly i could hurt myself and i dont want that.

This thread had some recommended kettle bell resources in it (I don't know much about it TBH but I figured the respondents here mentioned some good places to look). Good luck.

Any kind of resistance training, along with a moderate deficit, and adequate protein will help you reduce body fat while maintaining muscle.2

Well, for the super thread on different types of programs, from BW to Dumbbell to Barbell (sorry I don't think there are any kettle bell exercises listed here), check this one out:

Since you like walking a lot, I'd recommend that u walk as your form of cardio and do basic excercise. No weights.. try this: do 50 push-ups per day, 50 body squats and 50 pull-ups (assisted). As basic as it gets. Once your body gets used to it, start to use weights1

Daily Workout Apps has nice workouts and is easy to use. Level 1 of each category has good basic moves. The free version is fine but the pro version has kettlebell exercises as well, plus Pilates and ball exercises. The pro version is not a subscription so that is even better.0
