Anybody tried ViPR?

Hi all, I just heard about a new class at my local gym called ViPR, I looked up a little about it, it seems to be a relatively new thing, but the comments on the site I saw all seemed to be labeling it as a new temporary fad.
I wondered if anybody had tried using one much, or had been to any classes for them, and what your thoughts were? Also, most of the links I saw about the ViPR seemed to be about men's fitness and I wondered if women used them too.

They use them in the Equinox clubs (pricey club that has the trendy stuff). Probably works well enough bit IMO the combination of looking silly and not providing a benefit you can't get from more widely available equipment does have a faint whiff of fad to. Just like those surfboard workouts.
But whatever, try it if it's available to you. Shouldn't be any worse than any other group class. If you like it it can become another tool in your fitness plan0
