100% newbie to all things lifting, literally I've done cardio my whole life and I've never stepped on anything in the gym but the elliptical, I've lost the majority of my weight, still would love to lose 15 more pounds, but I want to change my body shape, a0pnd I know I need to lift heavy things to do that, I want to start very beginner strong lift 5x5 but I'm seriously so intimidated, anyone want to take me under their wing?

I think stronglifts is great for beginners. It's what I started with on my own after learning the lifts with a team. Start light and learn proper form before increasing weight. If you have trouble with the empty 45lb bar, you might see if your gym has a bodybar or dumbbells to use until you are ready for the full size bar.

I went to bodybuilding.com to find a weight training program to help. You can try that out.
