What is the best exercise for "arm flab"? I am toning everywhere else, but have not found a good exercise to help tone up the upper arms. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have that too and it makes me crazy!! I started doing wall push-ups and graduated to push-ups which has helped. I also do triceps extensions with hand weights. If you google that you will see examples of the move. One other thing I do is chair dips (you can google that too) which really works them. Mine are getting better but I'm still not sleeveless-ready! LOL!! Good luck!0

Exercise doesn't "tone" your flab. You have to lose the fat. End of story. That comes from diet. Eat less than you burn, and the fat will come off. You can't target a specific area for loss, so no amount of arm specific exercises are going to get rid of the flab. Your body decides where you lose fat from when in your journey. It sucks, but it's the way it is.
That being said, you can strengthen muscles and even see a bit of gain if you're new to lifting which can help what you've got look a little better. Bench press and overhead press, while not specifically targeting your arms, are great exercises. Bent over rows, too. You're using the muscles in your arms as secondary muscles. Triceps dips (I use my bench at home with a 25 pound plate in my lap), push-ups, curls, skull crushers and dumbbell rows are just a few other upper body exercises (they target smaller muscles mostly, the first 3 I mentioned are more compound exercises) that will work your arms.0 -
Depends on your age.
If you are over 45, you have to be super skinny, or get surgery, or live with it.0 -
tricep dips will help tone the muscles of your arms. Just google tricep dips to find the correct form.0

I found this link a few days ago and tried the challenge - I am having a go at doing this 4-5 times a week for a month to see if I can firm that area up. It definitely works all the muscle groups and only takes 10 minutes. There are lots of other exercises on youtube by the same trainer.

but as has been said already, these strengthen the muscles, which will improve their shape... but if you want to get rid of flab you have to eat less than you burn off.0 -

To help reduce the appearance of arm flab, you need to start stregnth training, mainly upper body stregnth training. Exercises really dont matter since most of the muscles of the upper body work in concert with together to perform the desired movement. also nutrition is king when it comes to fat loss. however in order to help yourself reduce fat faster, stregnth train your whole body and eat clean (meaning real food, with 1 ingridient) and you'll get there.What is the best exercise for "arm flab"?
