Active and fat loss on 2000 calories or more?

I would just experiment at this point. Do 2 weeks at 1900 and 2 weeks at 2K etc. See how much *you* can get away with. On days I walk 20K steps I eat 2300 and lose but I don't do that daily, mostly just weekends. Good luck!1

If you're more interested in losing body fat to look better, i'd ditch the elliptical and pick up some weights, that's how you're going to see more body composition changes.2

No one single other person's experience can give you an answer.
The calculators, like the one built into MFP, will give you the best possible estimate, because they're based on averages from large research studies, and most people fall close to the averages.
But some people may fall fairly far from the averages. Therefore, only your experimentation will give you anything like an answer.
The calculators give you a good starting point for your n=1 experiment.2
