So how do you stay under your maintenance calorie intake, and you would gain 6lbs in 5 weeks! Huh?

    I'm unsure if the above answer is the answer you need because I don't understand the question.

    If you're talking about the "complete diary" button.

    It's possible that you need to go into settings and update your goals, or stats, or both

    Ha, I just got the question. Yea, I have had some days where I'm under goal (usually by less than 100 calories), yet when I complete the diary it says I'll gain a bunch of weight in 5 weeks...which I agree makes no sense as I was under goal. I have no clue the algorithm they are using to calculate that 5 week estimate. I've also noticed that if you are more than 100 calories under goal, at times it estimates an equally unrealistic weight loss in 5 weeks. It's pretty much best to just ignore the estimate and at times, if you must look at it, just use it as a form of amusing entertainment. Yet another useless 'feature' of MFP ~ about as useful as the new 'woo' emoji in the forums.
