This is your second thread asking for information on what i consider "short-term" problems.
If i had to give you advice i'd say... remember that your body composition is a reflection of your consistent daily-habits and choices.
If you consume too many calories from pizza one time... no big deal. If you have too much alcohol one time... no big deal (assuming you don't get alcohol poisoning). Do any of these things consistently and you're probably not going to be where you want to be.
Making the mind-set shift from understanding that regardless of what you choose to do you must maintain it long-term to be successful should help you in dropping the thoughts about one weekend, short fixes like diet pills, fad diets, etc.3 -

Unless you ate a an absolutely massive pizza, the majority of the weight is most likely from water retention from dehydration from the alcohol and sodium content in your pizza.
Personally I dislike the concept of a "cheat day" this implies to me that I am cheating on something when I am not, I have days where I eat at maintenance because I have a bigger appetite but I understand that if this becomes a regular habit then it will impact my progress. Try looking at your calories over the week (you can see this in Nutrition at the bottom of your food diary and can change the view from daily to weekly).
Having 2-3 pints and a pizza once in a while won't hurt, but if you're knocking back a load of pints, having a few jagerbombs, kebab on the way home and pizza the next day, then you will probably wipe out your deficit for the week and undo any progress. Much better to fit the things you like into your normal calorie allowance. I find 16:8 Intermittent Fasting can be helpful on a weekend for me as it gives me more calories to play with in the evening (I eat a moderate brunch around 1pm and then have something at the pub or a takeaway).0 -

yes, if you were previously eating low carb then the extra carbs in the pizza and sodium are probably the main causes of water retention. Get back on track and it should fall back off.
If you are consistently eating in a specific way, any time you drastically change your intake you will probably see a change in water retention/ weight.1
