Hello I am new to this app.
I started using this app about 5 weeks back and lost 5 ibs, but gained a pound last week instead of losing it and I am disappointed.

I am pretty active, walk 2-4 miles almost every day. Do yoga two to three times a week.
Deleted sugar from my diet it's been 6 months.
Eat mostly healthy and mindful of junk food.
My weakness is fruits. I do eat lot of fruits.
I don't eat meat but do eat sea food occasionally.
Drink 2 liters water everyday.
I consume 1000-1200 calories a day, which is right for height and age.
I was supposed to lose 2 ibs a week but was happy losing 1 pound but that too didn't happen instead I gained 1 pound

Don't stress over a pound, you're doing great!

You're doing fine, it's to be expected! Weight loss isn't linear, my chart looks like the a mountain range, but it's trending in the right direction and yours seems to be, too. Weigh and track everything you eat. You can have as much fruit and junk food as you want if it's within your calorie range.
You shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories a day, even if that means slower weight loss. Less than that isn't enough for your body to work properly. If you are using MFP to track your exercise, many people eat half of their exercise calories in addition to the 1200 minimum.

    Thanks everyone !
I started with1200 calories but reduced to 1000 last week and that must have caused my weight gain. I am going back to 1200 calories.

    Drink 2 liters water everyday.

I drink 1-1.5 liters daily and just found out I should be supplementing with a high quality mineral-rich salt (eg. celtic sea, himalayan). 3000-5000mg should be my intake because I am low carbs. I did a quick MFP report on sodium for 30days and saw I barely got over 500mg daily. I have a fairly whole foods-no processed foods diet, so if I don't put it in while I'm cooking, I am not getting enough from my veggies etc.

Surprise! I am retaining less water.

I am told the same results will hold true from white table salt.

    You may be retaining water.
