Giving the 'community' aspect a try!

Hi, there!

Even though I've used MFP a few times over the last few years, in the past I've always thought of it as a private and temporary tool to help me get back into the fitness swing and let it fall by the wayside without utilizing all its different features. I tended towards bad habits like only logging on 'good days', and didn't take advantage of all the app's features -- I didn't even realize there was a community aspect until recently!

This time around I'm committed to logging every day whether I meet or exceed my calorie goal, and want to set myself up to stay in it for the long haul. I don't know how being friends on here works, really, but I'm definitely willing to give it a try!

My name is Emily, and I'm in British Columbia, Canada. I'm 27 years old and 153lbs, and am aiming to lose 15lbs and build more muscle. I'm trying to eat lots of protein; I cook regularly and am always adding new recipes on here. Please feel free to add me if that sounds up your alley!

Hello Emily! Welcome to the community part lol I'm new here too. We Can each other. I'm trying to lose about the same amount of weight and eat more protein and fiber. Keep up the good work!

Hello Emily. Welcome to the MFP Community. The more you read, the more you learn. I am from British Columbia also, however, I now live in Texas. I really miss the clean water and clean air! Add me if you like. :)

Hi, and welcome! Me too. I've used MFP a lot over the years, have always loved it, have always raved about it to friends. And now I'm also just getting into the "community" part. Feel free to add me if you want!
