Cannot get a steps adjustment on MFP using apple watch.....HELP!

I have searched this board and googled till my eyes are crossed and I still can't get it to work.
I have enabled MFP to pull from my health/apple watch app. I walked 15,000 steps yesterday and see NO adjustment on my exercise page. I don't even see a reference to step count at all the way I would with my fitbit. There's no way I wouldn't have some sort of adjustment with that many steps.
If anyone could help me figure out how to pair my AW so that I get a calorie adjustments from my daily steps.....I'd be forever in your debt!!!

I have the same problem with Samsung. I got sick if arguing with it, so I just add it manually now.0

Ugh. The whole reason I use the watch is for fitness. Maybe I should return it and go back to fitbit.0
