Apple watch, walking & steps HELP!

I've looked around in the forums and am not finding the answer to my problem. I have an apple watch which I use for my workouts & for my steps. It seems to be uploading to MFP the # of steps in my MFP app but I am not seeing it in my exercise section on the web. Also, am I correct that MFP assumes 10,000 steps/day (unless I tell it otherwise) and calculates my caloric need based on that?? I see that some kind of correction is taking place in one of my screens but even after reading FAQs I don't understand what that is - is it calculating based on the steps on apple watch? Do I need to be logging my walking time in the exercise section in addition to my regular workout (beachbody or metabolic aftershock)? Way confused. Any help would be appreciated.

The pic shows how my stats look. If I'm walking my neighborhood, I log it as an outdoor walk on my watch. It does show the daily steps, but it zeroes it out. Hope I helped.

Oh yeah, sometimes both the phone and the watch sync exercise calories to MyFitnessPal, and it doubles your activity. I just go in and delete one.

Thanks. Mine doesn't show anything in MFP with the apple watch heart thing. Both are set to pull from the apple watch but it isn't appearing like this in MFP. ?

If you haven't already you'll need to check the box for 'Enable Negative Adjustments'.

My Home > Settings > Diary Settings
