Question.

I've been working out and counting calories since February and so far I've lost 20lb. I train twice a day and I just started strength training, which is very hard for me. I guess it just the form and just learning the equipment. Do you guys suggest any workouts or equipment to use? I'm really trying to gain abs/muscle and tone. I was a size 16 and now I'm a size 6. When is the right time to strength train? This is all very new to me.

You are at a great place to start lifting. Help you retain a lot of your muscle and get some newbie gains as you lose fat. The best thing to do is follow a structured beginner program. This will tend to give you the best results by incorporating compound lifts and full body workouts. Below is a link with all kinds of beginner workouts to check through. The most popular beginner barbell workout programs are the stronglifts 5x5, strongcurves, TLS, or New Rules of Lifting.

Congratulations on losing 20 pounds! That's fantastic.

The right time to strength train is right now. Check out the link provided above with beginner programs, and see what appeals to you. Being consistent is more important than worrying about finding the "perfect" program, so try one out and see how you like it.
