I gave up drinking caffeine regularly and I don't get as tired in the afternoon anymore. My energy level is more stable and consistent throughout the day.
I also eat light during the day, eating large meals kills my energy.1 -
Get more sleep and drink more water4

What are some things I can eat throughout the day to gain the most energy?0

Energy doesn't come from energy drinks. It comes from food.
Why do you specifically mention that you're in sales? Salesman are entitled to the same lunch break as any other type of worker.1 -

Yes while salesman get the same lunch breaks as everyone else I depend on my high energy to get the job done in a upbeat type of manor. So the higher my energy the more productive I become .2

Caffeine doesn't really give you energy it stops you from feeling sleepy. Sugar is what gives you that feeling of energy but than there is the crash.
Exercise might help, more sleep and proper nutrition.1 -

If you believe energy drinks help you in sales, then drink them. Caffeine is a lovely legal stimulant.0

How is your diet? Sleeping pattern? Answering these honestly, may give you an idea as to why you feel like you lack energy
Failing that, just drink the damn coffee2 -

Seen nuts mentioned. I'd specifically recommend almonds. A handful a day will do it. Try low GI foods too. Search wen for that stiff see what you like. It's slow releasing energy foods. Stuff like granola and apples. Bit see what suits your diet and go from there. Good luck1

Energy Shots from Costco. 5 calories and I pour them into my water. Helps the after lunch slump or to wake up in the morning.0

Any thing I can supplement for nuts would help. I'm allergic to anything with nuts inside.0

I'm a programmer but I like to drink coffee and do little things to elevate my heart rate like...walk up a couple flights of stairs, do a few push ups...I have a kettle bell in my office which I will overhead press (I don't swing it as I'm afraid of throwing into the wall by mistake which I could never explain)
Not like a workout but as if I'm still for too long my heart rate will come lower and I find then I have less energy and focus.0
