Syncing issues (MFP/Apple Health/Garmin Connect)

My husband recently started using a Garmin Vivofit. Previously, his iPhone was syncing to MFP and giving him a calorie adjustment there. We synced Garmin and MFP, and it seems that nothing is coming from Garmin, still only the IOS adjustment. This has been going on for several weeks.
I've connected/disconnected/connected/disconnected a million times, and we turned off the motion sensor on his iPhone last night to see if perhaps that will help. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried doing it through the web version rather than the app or vice-versa depending on how you have tried?0
