Trying to bulk

I've been into fitness for two years now and have made pretty solid progress. I'm an 18 yr old guy. 5'10 170lbs. My only problem right now is that I'm struggling to gain more muscle. I have brought my calories up to 3500 for a while which brought me to 170-172 from around 165. But if I don't eat 3500 calories for like 2 days I'm right back to 165-167. I've been in this dilemma for a few months now. I'm getting stronger (slowly) but for some reason the weight isn't changing. Any advice?

Eat more! You're 18, probably still growing. If you're interested in building muscle, the next 4-8 years will be the best time to eat a lot and work hard in the gym to build a substantial amount of muscle.1

Srs, eat more. You're have like two liters of testosterone and will grow if you eat, train hard, and rest well.
Don't take your opportunity for granted.1
