Diet plan /shopping assistance

Hello my name is Donna and a year ago i weighed 162 I did not lose the majority of my weight by diet and exercise i was sick. But it was my jump start. After the weight loss you are left with flab but still i need to lose at least 10-15 more pounds I have fibromyalgia so i am limited to what i can do. I have worked with the trainer at the gym and she wonderful and i am aware that it is 75% diet and 25% exercise. I go to the gym when my body lets me and try to go at least 3 days a week. Most of my exercise is cardio and have increased the intensity. I need help with a diet plan. And evening snacks used to ice cream need suggestions anyone able to help me i am a 58 yr old female weighing in at 127 and 5 ft 2 1/4

Eating a balanced diet is a good idea for anyone—whether or not you have fibromyalgia. That diet should include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, and lean protein such as chicken or fish. Avoid unhealthy foods, including anything processed, fried, and high in saturated fats.
Last time I answered with the world processed it started a discussion. I hope that does not happen again. The term can mean many things as we all already know well.0 -
To lose weight you need to reduce your calorie intake. Have you setup MFP with your stats and your weight loss goal? Have you tried logging and hitting your calorie goal? If so, are you losing weight as expected? You can eat anything you want. But maybe you need a special diet because of your illness - have you talked to your doctor about that?0

Basically shop the outside aisles. The produce department is where I spend most of my time. I have sheets with 7 columns that I fill in with my meal plan. I get the weekly circular from my store before I sit down to plan so I know what is on sale.1

The outside aisles vary in each store. At my grocery store, the outside aisles would have me buying produce, but also candy, ice cream, pre-made bakery items.0 -

Yes, bakery is almost always in an outside aisle. I would suppose you could skip the dessert items and donuts and focus on whole grain bread, fresh meat, dairy, and produce. These items are almost always in the outside aisles. Also, you could alter your route through the store slightly to accommodate a healthy layout. If fresh fruit is in the center aisle (never saw that happen) you can skip the candy aisle and go down the fruit aisle instead.0
