Protein powder twice in one day???

I want to increase my protein intake, but it is hard for me cause I don't like meat and eat very little of it. Is having protein powder twice in one day overkill? I would have it as a morning and afternoon snack, in a shake.

Protein powder is just food. If you want more to get extra protein, go for it. On days when I'm in a rush, I'll use protein powder more than once a day.0

2 shakes isn't bad at all. Go for it.0

I use protein powder in the morning with my greek yogurt, and after my workout in a protein shake. I'm thinking about incorporating another serving (or 1/2) somehow for the evenings. Since I started strength training, my goal is to have 1 gram of protein for each pound I weigh, which would be 146 grams.
Still trying to figure it out. Either way, protein is not only in meat and powder. You could also eat salmon, cottage cheese, nuts & seeds, tofu, yogurt... There are quite a few choices.0 -
It's not bad to have twice in a day.
It's best to get your protein from real food. Greek yogurt, eggs, dairy products, beans, nuts, nut butters, legumes, etc if you don't like meat. You can get more than enough protein in a day from real food instead of shakes.0 -
