7 weeks in!!

I am mainly a lurker & don't post much. I have struggled with my weight on & off for years. I have always been a calorie counter & felt cranky when I would eat low calorie. (1200) I used to run but as I became heavier it became harder to do & eventually stopped last fall. About 2 months ago I joined crossfit upon talking to some friends who encouraged me to try it. I was so scared of hurting myself, intimidated by athletes & worried about not being accepted. I took some private training, did group classes & the last 4 weeks I have been working with a nutrition coach. Everyone is so supportive & it's encouraging to hear people tell me "way to go" or "keep going" when I struggle with the workouts. The first 3 weeks I saw no weight loss then in the last 4 weeks I have dropped 8.3 lbs, 4" from my waist & 1.5" from my hips. I gave up my daily diet soda habit, eat more calories than I ever have from "dieting" & eat every 3 hours. My cravings for sugar & junk food is diminishing. I feel stronger & more confident. Looking forward to continuing this weight loss journey of mine to be healthy & happy again.

I am following the zone diet (blocks), 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. I rarely feel hungry. Eating roughly 1700-1800calories a day. Goal is 120g P, 170g C, 60g F. I'm learning more every day about macros.1
