Hey all- One of the main reasons for my weight loss journey was to get back to playing hockey after a year absence. Hitting the gym almost daily, coupled with my diet has helped me lose 25 lbs so far. I just returned to playing, and couldn't be happier. My question/concern is this- I'll hit the gym after work-around 3 pm- and do cardio on some days, and weights on others. My hockey games routinely start anywhere from 730 pm to 1040 pm. So far I've felt ok. But I'm wondering if my gains from the weight training will suffer if I skate later that night. Any thoughts? Thanks!
