I have been hitting the gym for 6 months and gained around 12 kgs.
I currently weigh 62 kgs with height 5'11.
My trainer is advising me to take steroids and telling me I won't be able to gain more weight naturally. Please tell me what should be my ideal weight and also how much time should it take to gain around 10 kgs if I intake the calories that are needed. Should I go for steroids?? I'm taking a weight gainer and pre workout currently.

No, you should not take steroids. Fire your trainer. Your weight gain is good. How old are you? You still growing? Can we please have your TDEE and and outline of your lifting program?
The absolute maximum you can gain per year is about 12 kgs muscle plus 12 kgs fat. You are on track. Your trainer is stupid. Also, you do not need 'weight gainer' it's filler, eat lots of food and you'll be far better off and have a fatter wallet. No need for pre-workout either if you don't want.
Did I say fire the trainer, I'm saying it again. With this advice you're probably not on a good lifting program either.
Your ideal weight is whatever you want it to be to be healthy and look good if that's what you want. Read this here

Your maximum, fantastic, competition beach body is around 200 lbs (90 kgs) at 10% body fat, but you'll look good at 75-80 kgs and 12-15% body fat.
Not happy with your trainer at all. There is so much wrong here.
Take your time and be patient.

Anyone who tells you to take drugs...unless a medical doctor...just no. Make sure you are following a good program.2

Your trainer is advising you to take steroids?
- was he being sarcastic?
- Is he certified?
- Is he the one who is going to supply/sell?
- Did you ask him if he himself takes it?
- Did you ask him what the side effects and risks are?
- Do you have any pre-existing health conditions?
Take your time to read the articles below. They're from good sources.
A good article about "performance enhancing drugs-know the risks" from MayoClinic:

Here's a good article on Steroids from health.usnews.com

Here's another article about risks of bodybuilding products from FDA.gov

I think steroids are a bad idea. You could always cut and bulk instead. I don't think steroids are the answer. Run the other way! But this is just my personal opinion. Read the aricles, gather advice, and more information on this, it would also be great if you ask advice from a doctor/physician about a PT telling you to take steroids for muscle building so you would know what the health and medical risks are if someone were to use them

Hi!
I have been going to the gym, 5 days a week for 3.5 years. The first year was getting use to lifting weights. The second and third year I got serious and started lifting heavier~body building. You can start with Jamie Eason program that includes videos...

I have gained quite a bit of muscle from
THE BIG 7 CARDIO WATER MACROS SUPPLEMENTS WEIGHT TRAINING STRETCHING SLEEP
Feel free to email me back with any questions or concerns and know that the process takes time and is not ment to be a quick fix~1 -

Thanks a lot for your advice. I am a 21 year old male who is 180 cms tall and weighs 62 kgs. My maintenance calories per day is 2550.
I hit the gym 6 days a week, each day focusing on different body parts.
Monday- Chest
Tuesday- Back
Wednesday- Shoulders
Thursday- Biceps
Friday- Triceps
Saturday- Legs
I do five exercises, three sets with reps of 12,10 and 8.0 -
Hmm and all the side affects to go with taking them. Just keep going as you are maybe eat 500kcals over your maintenance! we all have goals which don't happen a quick as we would like, but hard work will pay off in the end2
