How to use activity calories?

Do I eat the extra calories added to my daily goal through exercise?? Eat half ?

Maybe start with half and keep track of your losses. If you are losing faster than what mfp has you set for, eat a little more. And the opposite is true too.2

It's set up so you eat them all back.
If you're not progressing something is off, either your base calories or the exercise calories.
I would eat them all back and make adjustments from there.0 -

While it is true that it's set up to eat them all back, the majority of exercise calories are grossly overestimated. I'd rather eat 50% to 75% back and then maybe adjust, than to eat 100% initially and not lose or maybe even gain since the odds very high that eating 100% back will lead to no deficit or maybe even a surplus. But that's just my personal opinion.1
