How accurate are the calories burned reading on a good stationary bike that a reputable fitness center would have?

Probably not very accurate. The only way to know is to use it for a few weeks and see if the numbers work (are you losing, gaining, or maintaining). I would personally just cut what ever it gives you in half and go from there.1

It might be a bit better if it asks for your age/height/weight, but probably not 100% accurate0
