Hi there,
I started running only 3 years ago. Actually I used the runtastic app but recently I bought a Garmin activity tracker and by installing the app I discovered this app/ site.
Since autumn 2009 I live vegan, switching from vegetarian to vegan. I was overweight before and with the vegan diet I didn't lose any weight either. It's just an urban legend that vegans are pale and thin
. In the end it's all about sugar and fat and I am a sweet tooth. But in May this year when I was not at home for two weeks I made a kind of withdrawal from the sweet and spicy treats I used to eat in the evening and still I didn't have a relapse or feel a craving which is quite good. I have lost some pounds already.
Now with the combination of the apps I'm using I want to improve my running, lose some more weight and just in general have more control of what I am eating.
Having some chronical health issues that makes it often quite hard to carry on with running and finding the motivation to do so, I founded a site on Facebook as it is a motivator to keep going. Also I take part in some official runs which I always dedicate for a good purpose.
Would be lovely if you visit my site and give it a like. Thank you! Much appreciated!
