Does anyone else rapidly lose weight in new anxiety inducing situations eg new house, new job, new school year? Cause I have a pretty strong tendency to and wondering if it's normal?

When you get anxious, do you eat less than normal? Or fidget a lot?0

No, I gain because I'm a stress eater.
But losing one's appetite due to stress is also very common for many people. You are probably one of those.2 -
My 21 year old daughter started a job working at a fast food restaurant 3 months ago. She lost 15 lb in her first two months and it's stabilized there. This is all about her increase in activity.0

Yes. I would say it's fairly common, as is its opposite, overeating when stressed.1

Yep. All the more if the stressful situation implies that I'm very busy. (But then, I'm a 'boredom eater', so it makes sense.)0

I definitely eat less when i'm stressed/anxious/heartbroken etc My sister's the same, she dropped to an unhealthy low weight after her divorce. My mum also just about wasted away after my dad died.0
