Trying to lose weight yet again!

I'm katie, 23 and over weight. Been trying to lose weight for a couple of years now and I start off really well until I stop exercising and eating well. One cheat day turns into a week then a month and before I know it I'm back into my old routine feeling completely unmotivated. The goal is simple get fit, lose weight and stick to it!

This app helped me with serving sizes. I measure almost everything. What helped me was going to the gym with a friend. He has helped me with weight training. Find a buddy to go to the gym with. Stay on this app because a lot of people provide support and encouragement.

Serving sizes is definitely something I need to start doing, is that something the app can help with? I've joined the gym again with a friend hoping that we can motivate each other! I think the app is going to help a lot with the support

Good for you. Take it slow, your body needs to get used to the fact that you're losing weight.
    Ps
Hope you get to where you want to be. Stay connected and you get more motivations and tips. Going to the gym with a friend is the best way to lose weight faster. I work out with my friends (when I have time lol) and it makes a big difference for some reason :) Good luck

Yes it real does. Before I joined the army I weighed 172 lbs now I weigh 114. That is from all the support and motivation :)

Would you say losing more than 1 pound a week is too much?:) any advice would be appreciated!

Hang in there! It takes a lot of patience and persistence, but you can do it. For me, the key is to think about what you're doing as getting healthy, not losing weight. If you think about it as losing weight it feels like hard work, you'll want breaks/cheats, and it's too easy to stop or even go back after you've lost the weight. Getting healthy is something to work towards and, believe it or not, will make you feel happier and better as you get there so you'll want to keep doing it. Have fun finding healthy activities and new foods. Make new friends who want the same. Enjoy yourself! :)

Not at all. Your body will lose the weight at its own pace. The app will simply set you the targets and all you need do is stick to them. I have a lot to lose. Have had a diet overhaul the last 2 weeks and have started pushing myself more with exercise. 5lbs last week just fell off. I ate plenty, didnt feel hungry and still managed to eat what I wanted just in proportion rather than stuffing my face.
Good luck! The app works if you work too!x x
